Four blokes...

We’ve been on the road recently, checking out some of this year’s Blue Light shows. On our rounds at the Coventry ‘Emergency and Rescue’ Fayre we managed to see some of the GSF slide and tilts in action.

Bob Budd, of the West-Midlands Fire Brigade, gave us a fantastic demonstration of some of our slides being used on the job. We asked Bob how they moved equipment in the past and quite simply it was ‘four blokes’. With GSF Slides one man can access the equipment while the rest of the team can focus their energies on other emergency issues.

GSF slides and drawers have been engineered to carry loads in excess of a tonne, the smooth motion of these precision slides allow equipment to be stored and accessed efficiently and quickly. Used in conjunction with GSF Drawer Handles, and their new product line Pro Mount, GSF Telescopic Slides can solve many stowage and tool access issues. For more information on GSF’s wide product range please click here.

We’ve got plenty of clips and images to show you how GSF slides and other GSF Products can help with your stowage issues so watch this space.

( If you have seen our slides in action or are using them at the moment please send us your clips so that we can add them to the blog.)

PAC TRACing Across the UKniverse

In August 2008 GSF Slides, the UK’s leading distributor of telescopic slides, linear rails and slide and tilt drawer systems, introduced a new product line; The PAC TRAC Tool Mounting System.

PAC TRAC tool mounting brackets provide a safe and secure mounting system to ensure the safe storage of a wide variety of tools and equipment. This new innovation has been specifically designed to ensure tools remain safe and secure when being transported on land, air or sea.

The PAC System has been engineered for versatility and flexibility. Each tool mounting bracket is secured to the patented PAC TRAC aluminium tool board. The tool board enables you to move, remove and continuously update and develop your tool board layout without having to drill more holes.

Developed from highly durable elasometers, reinforced nylons and molded polymers, the PAC TRAC tool mounting system is resistant to impact, UV damage and corrosion. The system is simple and easy to use and features instant release technology making it a valuable asset in emergency fire and rescue situations
